Donald Macgillavry
From MacColl, Folk Songs and Ballads of Scotland A Jacobite Song – same chord progression throughout.  The words to the side are pronounciations based on how Andy Stewart sings this song.  It is a very rousing song and played at a fast (and exhausting) tempo - but well worth learning.  I am still trying to work out the english equivalents for a lot of the Scots phrases.  Also, I don't know who Donald Macgillavry was (or if he was a real person), but he sure sounds like a historical figure.
