Charlie Is My Darlin
Lyrics by James Hogg and Carolina, Lady Nairne.  Another Jacobite song…  In this song, as in most Scots songs, you pronounce "my" as "me" and the name Charlie is said something like "Chayrlie" - though just Charlie works, too.

Chorus:
Am                                  Dm                  Am
Charlie is my darlin, my      darlin, my darlin,
                                           E7                Am
Charlie is my darlin, the young Chevalier.

           E7                 Am
Twas on a Monday morning
           E7              Am
