Tumbalalaika
This has been one of my very favourite songs since I was little.  I think it is a yiddish riddle song.  I will usually end the song by doing the chorus once or twice more at an increasingly faster tempo... tiring, but worth it!   I have no idea of the translation for the chorus, so if anyone knows, please tell me and I will post it...

Chorus:
Am                                           E7
Tumbala, Tumbala, Tumbalalaika                    Tumbalalaika = Toom-ba-la-lye-ka
                                                Am
Tumbala, Tumbala, Tumbalalaika
                 F                          Am
Tumbalalaika, schpiel balalaika                        balalaika = ba-la-lye-ka
               E7                            Am
Tumbalalaika, frey lach tzol zien                       frey lach tzol zien = fray lack zol zine

Am                                                      E7
A young man wonders how he will find
                                                     Am
A girl who is gentle, loving and kind
                   F                                      Am
Many the maidens, bright are their eyes
                      E7                             Am
How will he know the one who is wise?      Chorus

Am                                             E7
Maiden, maiden, can you explain
                                                       Am
What can grow and never need rain?
                         F                                         Am
Where is the fire that burns through the years?
                           E7                                Am
What is it that cries and cries without tears?     Chorus

Am                               E7
Listen, listen as I explain
                                                        Am
A rock can grow and never need rain.
                      F                                           Am
Love is the fire that burns through the years,
                                 E7                             Am
And when a heart cries, it cries without tears.   Chorus
