Song for a Captive Unicorn
Dark days they were in Drandmir under the rule of the fire dryad usurper, Amber Lee.  Unicorns were anathema to her, for they could not be charmed, and so Amber Lee struck out against Lady Ephany, the Unicorn, and took her captive.  Siobhan quickly penned this song and sent to to Drandmir via a wolf to be a subversive element while Ephany's rescue was arranged.  The tune is similar to the Moose Song  Words:  Ginger Hulsopple

G                                                  D          G
Drandmir, oh, Drandmir!  Oh, listen to me
                                            D
Look at the birds and the fish in the sea
  G                                 D
Can you not see the way it should be –
              G                                           D                 G
That wild things and unicorns are made to be free!

Gm                            Dm
Sad is the day and creatures forlorn
  Gm                                 Dm        Gm
What will become of the fair unicorn?
  Gm                                   Bb
Beauty and grace and magickal horn,
  Gm                                 Dm           Gm
Drandmir must free the proud unicorn!

G                                                 D           G
Drandmir, oh, Drandmir!  Oh, listen to me
                                            D
Look at the birds and the fish in the sea
  G                                D
Can you not see the way it should be –
              G                                            D                G
That wild things and unicorns are made to be free!
